Welcome to the official site for the Georgia Tech Symphony Orchestra. We've been playing as an ensemble since 1996, and since our inception, we've grown from a dozen interested students into an 80+ member ensemble. We're proudly one of the largest performance groups on campus, and we work to further the notion that there's much more to Georgia Tech than math, science, and engineering.

Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and courses of study, and our repertoire is versatile; in the course of an academic year, we perform a wide range of music, including classical music, contemporary favorites, and movie scores. This all happens under the guidance of our conductor, Ron Mendola.

We are a full symphony orchestra, consisting of strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, and piano. We perform several times during the academic school year (i.e., fall and spring semesters) in the Robert Ferst Center for the Arts, located in the heart of the Georgia Tech campus. Our rehearsals take place Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Couch Building's main rehearsal hall from 6:30 to 8 PM.
